splayed 4-bolt main caps, studs and stock windage tray?

I am having a 383 built with splayed caps with ARP studs. I was wondering if you can still mount the stock windage tray to them? I have heard you need to modify the windage tray. Modify it how? What do I have to do to get it to fit? What other trays can I use instead? Thanks for the info guys.....John

I have the splayed mains and ARP studs in my 383 and I have no windage tray, but I'm also running a 7 qt Milodon oil pan. The studs were to short for the windage tray.

If you have studs set up for windage tray you should be able to make stock one work.Snip here cut there that kind of thing.
