spittering and sputtering, HELP PLEASE

Hey guys here is the problem. About a week ago my car was running like crap. Sometimes it would start right up other times it would turn over 10 or12 times before it would start. When I was in park and revved it up it would sputter and not want to rev up. When I would go down the road I could barely speed up it would sputter and backfire so bad. All this would happen when it was cold after it would warm up to normal operating temp it wouldn't do it. I did a fuel pressure check, it was low I checked the fuel filter it needed changed. So i changed it rechecked the pressure it was good. I thought it would run great it started right up and it revved perfectly. I pulled it down into drive it took off great. Then it started to sputter and backfire again when trying to speed up. The only thing different now then before is that it starts right up and revs good when cold it just still sputters and backfires when trying to drive only when its cold after it warms up it doesn't do it. Any help you guys could give would be great.

Thanks

bad sensor maybe? like since when its cold it runs in "open loop" or whatever right? i think theres a bunch of sensors that monitor it and adjust everything before the 02 sensors get up to the right temp for them to operate... anyways, maybe some other person could list the possible sensors that could be bad, if you think thats the problem. that would make sense then once it gets up to temp and goes to closed loop it would switch over to the 02 sensors, then start working right... im not 100% sure im accurate on everything im saying but maybe someone could confirm it! haha, well good luck buddy

Have you scanned the PCM for stored codes. You can flash your SES light by jumping the A&B pins on the DLC. Like this.

Pull off your intake elbow and spray the throttle body w/ throttle body cleaner (Use at least 75% of bottle and a toothbrush). Then Spray a bunch into the triangular hole between the two circular openings (It cleans the Idle air Tempreture sensor). That should clear things right up.
