Spews out a cloud of somke when shifting
I have a 1993 z28 with 137,000miles. Changed the oil recently and added Restore engine lubricant. The first 2 days my car was smoking, then it stopped. And when it stopped, my car ran bad, no power, and real bad hesitation. I thought that the plug might have gotten dirty, and when I replaced them, again it has been 4 months now since I have replaced the plugs and wires, they were all carboned-up. It has been 2 days now since I replaced them, and the car is still running horribly. NGK platinum V-powers
I have also sprayed some CRC intake cleaner through the intake about 5 times.
Any suggestions?
I am writing this now, because I just lost to a Toyota MR2 spider

Oil Rings? Valve Seals? Glazed cylinders due to an overheat. Before you do a ring and/or cyl job, consider a short block. The cost may not be much different.
Note: If you get the blue smoke during idle and startup or upon decelerating it's probably your seals. If you get it all the time then you 're probably looking at rings or cyl. problems.
Good luck.

If you are getting the smoke during shifting, then it is probably your seals, since the motor is decelerating during a non-power shift. If you put in additives, you are just likely to make matters worse because you are now burning the additive as well---which is probably fouling your plugs which is causing your bad combustion and power loss.JMHO
Fouled O2s on my car made my car run 'bad, ...with real bad hesitation'. Sounds like maybe burning the Restore finished off your already abused O2 sensors. If the plugs are black and gunky, so are those sensors. If you can scan the car, look at the O2 response time. If sluggish, replace.
If you can't scan, unless they are fresh you should probably replace them anyway. Use Delphi sensors - they are OEM style and quality. Serious oil burners tend to use O2 sensors up quickly in my experience. Like every few thousand miles.
