I have a used 2800 Vig. for sale that only has 2k on it. Use that, plus a trans cooler, and a TA cover to help the rearend. Big gains in your 60ft. times with this, provided you have some sticky tires. PM me if your interested. Rick

The Vigilante is a great converter. I've got a 3200 and it's been great. You'll probably get more out of a Vig 2800 than you would with a "value" 3000or higher, especially on a fairly stock car.

Do you have a catback? You said you didn't want exhaust (i assume because of noise issues?), but you can get a quiet one for that price. 10 rwhp probably.

I decided not to get a stall, thanks though.

Did not want exhaust because I want it to sound stock. Noise is not a problem, lound exhausts save lives

well man i wouldnt be messin with rockers and headers if you want to sound stock. If your going to put those on your gains would be very minimal with completely stock cat. converter and muffler. Check out my sig. That pass was made with my very delayed 2-3 shift (still having this problem) so i expect to at least knock a 10th off when i get it fixed. I think the converter route will be your best bet over RR's and headers, should be cheaper and net you a lower et. One last thing dont expect to be riding on those nitto 555s anymore because they will not grip for crap with a stall, nitto does make a good streetable dragradial though, check'em out.

You are severly limiting your options. If you already have gears, do not want a stall, and do not want suspension work then there is nothing that will be a worth while gain while still sounding stock.

Nitrous would be the only option, but that will go over your budget.
