Hey everyone, My speedometer has not been working for quite a while now eversince i bottomed out like a month ago. It sometimes works untill i get to like 40 Mph and then it just drops down to the same level my RPm's are at. so the speedometer acts like my rpm gauge. But when i accelerate up to like 80 my speedometer stays down to like 30mph and then when i release the gas it goes up to the speed im going then it goes back down. Everytime my speedometer bugs out my car shakes alot and shifts down and doesnt want to shift up. I took it to chevy and they put in a new speed sensor and they told me my distributor cap is messed up. So could it be because of the distributor cap my speedometer isnt working right???
