Speedo change for '93 (Dakota Digital)?

I have a friend that owns a M6 93 camaro, he changed his gears to 3.73 and now his speedo is off. Has anyone used the calibration box from Dakota Digital on a 93 F-body?

I haven't used the box, but for ~$150 PCMforless will burn a custom chip for him with the settings built in for the new gears and he'll get a better stronger running car with lowered cooling fan settings to boot

On 93s you cant fix the speedo with the chip. Atleast thats what i have been told. I no the slp made a calibration box. I beleive the one sold by Dakota Digital is alot less. Im not sure if it will work though.

From what I read here you right about fixing the speedo with a custom chip, to bad because I have the software and equipment to burn a chip for him to. There must be a few guys around here that tried using one of these boxes, anyone?

I have the Dakota Digital box. It was very easy to install. First you divide your current gear setup by what you had. Or if you don't know you divide your speedometer reading speed by what the actual speed is. Then you go to a chart they give you and it tells you which switches to push up or down. There are ten switches all together, and you use a combination of these to calibrate the speed. All I did is get the pwer wire from the radio accessory power, then I cut the VSS wire and spliced in the Dokota Digital signal. I mounted the little box in the glove box. And that's it. If you have any questions just e-mail me.
