Speed, Inc. - opinions

hey all,

i am looking to get a good shop to do me a build-up. does anyone have an opinon about speed inc.? it's a toss-up between them and combo motorsports. i know sam and seth at combo but don't know anything about speed inc. if i had to leave my car at speed inc, how is their service. just looking to get a feel especially since alot of big name places are turning into bad apples.

I've heard nothing but good things about Combo Motorsports. Where I have heard some bad things about Speed Inc. I am not at liberty to say what I have heard, but I do know that they know their stuff and do do good work. Like any place, there are screw ups and mistakes.

I've ordered stuff from Speed Inc and I always get it quick. They've also always been very quick to answer any of my email questions.

thanks for the replies. i understand mistakes happen, it's how they are rectified that matters to me. i just don't want to get stuck with crappy work and have to pay on top of that to get it fixed.

I currently have an order in at Speed Inc; it's taken longer than they said it would, but they have been very decent over the phone. Hopefully my stuff will be ready to pick up next week; they told me it would be. I'm ready to do the header install. I'll let you know how everything works out.

Thumbs up

Speed Inc had a local supplier ceramic coat my SLP shorties; they look damn good. I finished the header install tonight; along with the Random Tech dual high flow cat ypipe. I was very impressed how the y-pipe fit so well. No leaks! So far so good. I was very impressed with Speed Inc's salespeople. I will definatley do business with them in the future.
