i installed a spec stage three and when i take off my car shakes like crazy. is this normal with this clutch

 

which one do you have? is it their new one that has the 6 pucks?

If so that just how that clutch is.. If you don't have the power to put to that clutch then yea it's gonna be more grabby as to if you were putting more power to it. My buddy has the stage 3 in his car and so do I and he's putting a LOT less power than I am and his is definately more grabby than mine is.

Just deal with it, go try their stage 5 clutch and then talk to me about being grabby

 

Its normal.....It will improve as it breaks in.....that will take 300-600 miles of stop and go.

 

i dont know what stage three i have i bought it about a month ago its the ceramic disk. it doesent chatter as much as it did when i first put it in it has about 50 miles on it. i couldent restraine myself and go through the break in process. how much damage can that cause if you dont break it in proper

 

ooo that ceramic is a killer... i had a stage 3 ceramic, the old one with 4 pucks. DAMN that thing was like a ceramic leech onto my flywheel. Did want to let go or slip or anything. On the positive side, I chirped fourth on a stock engine, not even headers yet!!!
