Spec Stage II questions?

I have decided I want to go with a Spec Stage II clutch. I think. Has anyone else had these, and had good or bad luck?

Where is the cheapest place to get one?

Thanks for any help!

Yes, the Stage II is a nice piece. Some people say it's close to stock (engaging) and it doesn't chatter.
You'll be fine without slicks. They can handle 400rwhp with nitrous.

I have the stage 2 and their lightweight flywheel. I LOVE IT!!! Grabs like an ape! They got a bad batch of flywheels that were cut to low from their supplier, now they are manufacturing there own. They are replacing mine, free of charge.

I got the Stage 1 as my car(95Z) is essentially stock and the guys at Thunder Racing said it would be plenty of clutch. It is. It hooks up well and the release force is similar or maybe just a bit more then stock. 'Course I'm still in the break in period so haven't fully tested it yet.

I've had the stage 2 in mine for about 6 or 8 months now...holds up fine to 380 rwhp and 500rwtq. Unless you have a 12 bolt rear end...I wouldn't even try slicks with it. I have broken 2 sets of gears with just drag radials. It has never slipped at all with me...even with 6 to 7 back to back blasts down the track. This thing is solid!
