Spec stage 2 install problem! HELP!

Ok so my installer just finished putting my clutch in...but while we were in the garage we noticed that the clutch pedal had half the travel as the stocker had....wasn't a big deal until i had to put the car in reverse....putting it in reverse i noticed it did not want to go in AT ALL! You had to put a lot of pressure on it and did grind a couple of times....1-6 gears went in well enough even though it didn't seem like it stuck as well as it should of...any help wouild be appreciated.

hmm...did you clean the flywheel offf really good? any contaminents on the flywheel will cause some strange heat and sticking problems with the clutch disk.
