Re: spark plug wires + lts
The Taylor OVC from Thunder works great with my 1 3/4" shorties, they should work the same for the LTs. Burnt wires are no longer an issue, and they look great, too. I did mine in black and it almost would pass for stock.

Re: spark plug wires + lts
Your better off using the OVC setup, but it isnt 100 percent necessary. I know a few people with longtubes that use the stock routing locations. You will just need a bunch of zip ties and a careful routing of all the wires to make sure they dont touch. even then though you are more at risk to burn one, if your worried about the Taylors being hard to make, trust me their not that hard......I got mine done pretty easily and they make my engine bay look badass.
Re: spark plug wires + lts
I'm had my Pacesetter LT's on for a few months, and I kept stock wire routing. (Besides keeping them in the "track" against the block) Haven't had any problems yet, I just made sure to angle the boots correctly, plus I used the heat shields that are on the stock wires as well as zip ties to keep the wires where I wanted them.
Re: spark plug wires + lts
I went with the OTVC setup as well on both my 4thgens. Very happy with the look and performance. One has Jet-Hot LT's, the other Pacesetters, work great on both. Aftermarket heads should not have an affect.
