Spark plug wires to close together

Is there any truth to having the spark plug wires to close together and causing a miss at upper rpm's due to interference?

I have a weird miss (more like a dead spot) at 5900-6100 and just trying to trouble shoot.

And as always this is an LT1 and it does have a MSD6AL.

Not sure this helps but I've run 150,000 volts threw 4 gauge wire with less insulation and never had the spark come threw the insulation. I think it matters if your wires are old, rotted, or cracked. Maybe someone else who knows more can chime in.

wires that are 2 close together can cause inductive misfire. originally dodge v10's would crack the #7 (iirc)piston due to the fact there were 2 plug wires routed in the loom improperly. this caused an incorrectly timed spark and ka-blooey.

You could try some wire separators. They cost less than $10.
