spark plug wire order

spark plug wire order

ok so i had a post earlier about me burning my spark plug wires in my 93 lt1....and my buddy was supposed to come over and relocate them.b/c i dont know the order they go....so im getting tired of waiting for him to come over and i want to do it myslef i was wondering if u guys know the order they go on...and i know ur gnna say do it one at a time but we already took some off and my buddy said he may have put some back on wrong....so iw as wondering if u guys could help me with this.. also is there certain routes to go to prevent the wires from gettign burned on the headers

As far as Ive noticed Cyl 7 is the only one that you should route a certain way, the rest are self explanitory.
#7 goes againt the block on a groove under the exhaust manifolds, if you look you'll see. Make sure you use one of the longest wires or else you'll end up with a cracked wire in no time.

Isn't that interesting, the drawing shows the 'vettes composite valve covers.

This is the correct firing order which all gen I and II small blocks share.

The wires don't need to be routed a "special" way with OVTC wires right? Just obviously through the valve cover for the drivers side, but what about the passenger side?

I routed my OTVC wires on the passenger side down the right side of the valve cover and against the alt bracket. Make sure they;'re zip tied so the don't get fragged by the ps pulley.
