Question Spark plug questions

My cars seems to run pretty well, doesnt seem to miss, but last time at the track my heads, cam, full bolt on car was only traping at 13.0 @ 107 with a 2.0+ 60' spinning bad. *The spark plugs in my car are like 4+ years old. They are Bosh +4's. Do you guys think some new NGK TR55's could help me out here?

Thanks!

Re: Spark plug questions

It doesn't sound like your having any trouble producing power. So no, I don't think plugs would help. But they are 4 years old, so it wouldn't hurt either.

Re: Spark plug questions

Impossible to say if it will or won't.. but you might as well try.

107 mph traps out of heads/cam is pretty bad, what elevation are you running at and what were the conditions like?

Re: Spark plug questions

I know. The elevation i think is sea level here for detroit. The car is a heavy TA converitible if that means anything.

Re: Spark plug questions

Ive had trouble with those crappy bosch 4+ plugs. I went with NGK TR55IX Iridium plugs and that solve my problems. It might be the same for you. I think its worth a try.

Not having trouble producing power? What are you smoking?
