Spark plug gap

Question Spark plug gap
The sticker under the hood says .050, but I always thought ot was suppossed to be .035 should I go ahead and gap it at .050? I need an answer as soon as possible

Lt1 engine is gapped at .050....

other chevy 350s' are gappped at .035....
