Spark Plug Boot Insulators.

How many of you use spark plug boot insulators? Do you use them with your headers/manifolds? I recently had a set of MSD S/C 8.5's installed and 2 got pretty burned on the manifold. Now I have quite a nasty arc. I plan on buying insulators with the next set of wires.

I want to buy a good set. Any ideas?

Jegs and Summit make what looks like asbestos condoms that wrap over the ends. It's a little hard to get them over the angled boots but I have a set of BBK shorties and they work well. Also, I think that OEM equipment had aluminum heat shields as well (check ebay.) I run those over the jegs sleeves and have no real probs, but the car never goes on the highway, etc.....

Just my 0.02.
