Which Spark Plug?

Which Spark Plug?

Hey guys. Just wondering if i can use the stock plugs with it?

Just got this car and it will be the 1st time im changing out my plugs.

Which ones do you suggest?

And can i use the Stock gaping?

Its a 355. H/C car. Mods in Sig

hey wassup i just did the tune up on my 89 camaro i used the A/C Delco Platium spark plugs and the wire set it runs so smooth i cant even tell that my car is on set your gap at .35 it makes it easier to get spark to the spark plugs yeah dont use stock factory gaping...

TR55's or Autolite 106's, gapped at .045-.050. .050 is stock thats what I used last time, now I'm at .038 with TR6's because I'm spraying....

the only reason you would need to close them to .035 is if your spraying, but you aren't so run them at .050.

Go with .035. Some actually KNOW what they are talking about. It will make it easier on the opti. .050 is for emissions and a tad smoother idle THAT'S ALL.
.050 is also good for the parts people as it helps sell more Opti's.
Trust me it won't hurt a thing and will make your opti last longer.

How does the change in gap affect emissions? Does this also affect gas mileage?

Longer spark(length not time) for a better burn at idle.
It can effect mileage if the opti don't fire the plug.
