Looking to achieve 400 rwhp

I have a 1994 Fire Bird Trans AM 25th Ann. edition. Within the next two months I am going to sit it up and begin saving and buying any necessary parts that I would need to achieve my goal. I know a few things that I could do increase power, but I want more suggestions.

Re: Looking to achieve 400 rwhp

400 RWHP is going to take more than that, you will have to go LE2 or 3. Longtubes and a good exhaust, induction, injectors, maybe a fuel pump and a good dyno tune and you might get there. I takes a lot to get a stock short block to 400 RWHP. I would (after building an all out N/A motor) go forced induction and look to Vortech, Procharger or STS and go that route. It will be easier to make the power that way and it is very nice to easily be able to adjust your power level for street and strip.
