Spark at idle?

What should your spark reading be at a warm idle? I switched PCM's to see if it fixed my ignition problem and this other PCM is giving me 10 spark at idle. Is this normal?

Re: Spark at idle?

Are you looking at the spark advance using a scanner? All that tells you is what the PCM is calculating for spark advance, based on the tables programmed in the PCM. It doesn't tell you what the ACTUAL spark timing is. Since Ion has tuned your PCM, you have to ask him if this is the spark advance he programmed in for warm idle.

Is this related to your several other threads on problems with the new Delteq when the engine is cold? If so, you might want to keep all these posts in a single thread.... otherwise no one is going to have the complete story on you problems, and what you have done to solve them, and it just makes it harder for anyone to help you solve your problem.
