Ok so my Jet-hot LT's are getting installed tommorow morning. I have been to every shop in town and this place I trust the most. They guy quoted me about 4 - 5 hours labour to install the headers. He said that if they take longer which he doubts they will, he still will charge me a maximum of 5 hours. So if it takes him 5 hours it will cost me approx $300. Does that sound right? Is this guy in over his head? How long did it take some of you to install LTs? Oh thats just to install the headers, the muffler shop that is making my Y - pipe said it would be about $100. So I'm at about $400 to intall LTs and have a custom Y pipe fabbed up.

Seriously? I know the Y pipe for $100 is a good deal but $2 - 300 for the header install is good also? Anyone else?

 

i wouldn't have installed my own headers if i could find someone to do it for $200.
and I had professional help/lift/tools

 

Most places will say abour 8 hours at $50 an hour, and some places will add on like $50 cuz of how much of a b!tch it is to do....good work!
