sound question - gut cat/high flow cat
sound question - gut cat/high flow cat
Hey, i want my car to sound a little bit meaner, i have a flowmaster catback but i was disappointed at the sound of it. I really dont want to gut my cat or make a ORP. But how would it sound with a cheap High flow cat, i dont want to spend to much so i was just looking at a $100 high flow cat plus install. Would it sound good or just as good as no cat/gut cat?
thanks
thanks

I agree with Chaz, if you are just looking for some more sound, get an electric cut out. From inside the car then you can adjust how much it opens, therefore how much louder the car is.
I have the McCord and it works great. My only complaints are that it opens/closes pretty slowly.

Which cat is the best? High flow cat that is. I don't wanna pay for a name b/c well I don't wanna spend much for just a cat anyway. But I was wondering if I did get a high flow cat, which one is the best? I don't need anything to make the car sound any louder as Iam more prone to building sleepers

I picked up a carsound from someone in the forsale section for $50. If is a very nice cat, hell, you can see light through it (And no it wasn't gutted) Very smooth insides for better flow. Didn't change the tone of my exaust too bad (I had no cat) when I had it welded on.
Great cat in my book!
