Sonsor on head???

hey guys, sorry but cant find my repair manual. What is that sendor on the side of the head?

Pretty sure there isnt a sensor on the head. At least not on my car.

The only thing that I can think of would be the ICM(ignition control module) bolted to the front of the head.

nope this one goes right into the side of it. I wanna say near the plugs. I'm at work right now and can exactly remember. Lil hung over.

Its in the block on the drivers side, its the coolant temp sensor.

Dude thanks but I'm tellin ya my man. Porting my own heads and I just took that bad boy off today. Small blue plastic connector on it.

If I am not mistaken it is in the driver side head and not in the block. It is the Coolaont temp sensor.

The coolant temp sensor for the gauge is in the driver's side head.
