Sometimes while driving i hear a clicking noise...kinda sounds as if it is originating from my driverside rear wheel area. once i pull up to a stop light and stop it wont do it anymore until i get to anothe stop....and go again then i does it again until i restop. Like it only does it everyother time i stop and then go again. what is up with that? why not continuous? Any suggestions? My car is a 96 T/A A4.

The easiest thing to do is get under there and look around. Move things (see if they will move). I used to get a mysterious clunk until I finally got my lazy but down there and realized I was missing an end-link on the sway bar.

 

true....I geuss i will have to crawl under there and look this weekend. thanks.
