Is something supposed to go here?

Is something supposed to plug into here ?

It looks like a vacuum hose is supposed to go there, but I couldn't find one available.

as far as i can remember i have an open hose like that on my car too about the same location.

mine is the same way, as well. I think it is just a vent line.. make sure it is facing to the rear of the car. You would want any water to be ppushed up the line while driving..
