To someone who knows more than i do!!

On the passenger side of the intake manifold, there are two vacum lines between the two pairs of injectors. The upper one comes off the intake and connects to a small cylinder shaped piece of plastic where it then splits into two lines and dissapears into a wire loom. What are these two lines for? What does the plastic barrel piece do, and what harm would it cause if neither of these were hooked up and the manifold was capped?? Please help me out.

This is on a '94 c4 if it matters. I went to my chevy dealer and they couldnt find the plastic connector piece.. I broke it. So please help me out guys

on fbodys the evap purge is on the passanger side I dont know if thats the same on vettes or not, but a line running into a harness sounds more like its going to the inside to the HVAC system, can you get a pic of it and post it?

That goes to the HVAC system to operate the mode controls.

The second vacuum connection between the injectors is not for the EVAP system. The EVAP vacuum connection is on the throttle body. The second connection between the injectors is the vacuum source for the fuel pressure regulator vacuum compensation line.
