you might get 1-2 hp. but every little bit helps right?
I did it already, but dont remember how....search for TB bypass and I am sure you will find it right away. Not sure about the BBK either...IMO you should have spent the $400 on something else.....exhaust....maybe $100 more and get some LTs....

Don't know if it improves performance, but I did it only because it makes it so much easier when you need to take out the TB quick to do some work in the area.

FWIW ws6.com claims 6 horses with this mod....

To do it on a 93, you have to disconnect the inlet and outlet hoses from the bottom plate of the TB and connect them together with a copper or brass pipe/connector and some clamps.

Here's a link with pictures and instructions.

The procedure will be the same on the 52mm TB.

$400..not..

I DIDNT PAY $400 FOR THE BBK 52MM TB!! I wouldnt have done that for 400. I paid $210 NEW for it. C.O.D. from a place in Cali.
They were gonna sell me some BBK chrome headers for $225 shipped ..NEW. I found a new honey hole on pricing/mod parts. Maybe we could get up a group purchase and do even better!???

Does the system need bleed after this? Coolant left over in the TB?

I didn't bleed mine. I just put a towel under the TB outlet for a minute till the last few drops of coolant dripped out.

Anytime you disconnect a coolant line, you should bleed the system.
