some advice

i am selling my engine right now so that i can start on a new project. i want to buy a block and turn it into a 383. unfortunatly i dont know much about engines. there is a local machine shop near my house that can build it for me. but my question was, what is a good rotating kit that i can buy? i am looking for about 500 hp. maybe in the future i would like to spray it or turbo or supercharge. but not sure just yet. i am looking for a good kit that is not too pricey. can you guys help me? thanks.

yours is a 383 - why not start with what you have rather than sell it?

sometimes you have to make the better choice. It would be wiser to sell the car.

yeah, i have to. but the car is not running so i would bacially get nothing for it. thats why i decided to seperate the heads and engine from it. i could get more that way. plus i get to keep the body (which is in pretty good condition) and start the project over some day.
