Solved my miss problem-sort of. Anyway, I know what is causing it now. I noticed starting last year that if the car idles very long with the ac on, it will set a code for a "ramdom miss-fire. Turns out the reason it does this is that the compressor head pressure is going sky high at idle and it is draging the engine down. This would obviously point to a cooling fan problem. I switched around the fan relays and verified that, at least now, it is going into high speed mode with the ac on now. I need a couple of days now to see if the problem is really under control. It was sure a drag turning off the ac at every light.
