Solutions and ideas for injectors and mass air flow below
Hey everyone i have a fairly stock 96 z28 camaro- with a few things done to it such as: 3.73 gears, hooker headers, magna flow 3in cap back, msd distributor, k&N air filter, and a bbk dual 58mm trottle body.
anyone know what size of injector would maximize my performance the most with what i have right now?
and does anyone know of a cheap alternate for a below from mass air flow to the trottle body?
anything would be great

Well then you might consider injectors but even with that list the stock MAF is the right choice.
Really though what I am seeing is you NEED to stop looking to buy parts and get a better understanding of WHY you use certain parts.

i know what all these parts do. i figure i need bigger injectors b/c stock trottle body is dual 52mm, and bbk is dual 58mm. more air more gas more explosion more speed, power whatever to an extent. its not that much of a difference but it feels better already from the bbk. but neyways.
what about a cheap solution to the below? MAF part is a rubber piece of **** that is all torn and barely fits on the bbk. any ways to get a new one without spending hundreds of dollars?

You've probably increased airflow less than 10% with those mods. Getting larger injectors will do nothing unless you are maxing out yours, which isn't the case here. Save yourself the cost of injectors and a tune.
Have to agree with the rest of the guys in here. Your stock injectors are fine for the time being. Invest your funds elsewhere. Check out some of the vendors for an aftermarket TB elbow. The Trickflow aluminum ones work pretty good and won't rip.
Im with the rest of the gang. I ran 12.80s with stock injectors and maf. They will work fine. Worry more about putting it to the ground. Get a Torque arm and dial it in with a set of drag radials. Traction, traction, traction. And if its an auto car get a converter immediately. JMHO. Eric L

Prorac1 And the stock TB is 48mm. I think the 58 is a little over kill. Eric L
i have drag radials, an a converter already but not enough power yet to put on the drag radials, ive just been using bf goodrich rain tires and not really lighting them up, praticing driving skill and the speed will come soon enough.
on my z28 the stock tb is 52 "now 58 looks like a huge difference side by side." its not overkill b/c im stroking and supercharging over the next year starting now.
The metal trick flow elbows may look nice but they heat soak. A 1LE elbow is what you want. The stock throttle body on your car is most definatly a 48mm like someone else told you. 52MM is the biggest size you can install without porting the holes in the intake. 58MM requires porting. It will bolt up, but the holes in the intake are only 54MM. While it won't be overkill if you go forced induction it is most definatly overkill on stock internals.
