Solid roller 383 LT1's in please.

Well my latest build is as follows: .030 over, splayed main caps, Eagle forged rotating assembly with Flattops(-5cc valve reliefs), LE3 Heads 2.055 intake, 1.600 ex valves, LE3 solidroller 24X/25X@50 6XX lift, stock ported intake, 58mm T.B, 1-3/4" headers with trueduals, 4k converter, Moser 12bolt with 4.10's on 28x10.5 ET drags, 3,400lb raceweight. Well the cam was from my old 355 that I put in my new 383 just for a starting point knowing I would probably need a little more cam. The car ran 10.82@127.8mph on it's second outing untuned so it's running great. Now I added a 100Hp of n2o and when i got to the track my PCM wouldn't communicate with my laptop, there was no fuel at the trac k so I decided against my better judgement to make short pass to see how my suspension, tires etc.. The car left awesome for a 100shot: 1.40 60' 6.40@106mph to the 1/8th and shut it off. I used to get away with that on my old 355" LT1 but had some detonation and hurt a headgasket so I pulled the heads, had .005milled off, they are ready to go back on but I am thinking about swapping cams while the engine is this far down. I wanted to see what everybody else with solidrollers was running and the times to see how much duration I should add for my setup. I bought a singleplane intake this week so thats going on as well. I don't want to lose much torque to gain HP above 6500rpms but I would like to make the most HP&TQ between 4000-7000rpms. What do you guys think? I will probably go with another LE solidroller b/c this one is a beast of a cam. LMK later Clint

I had Lloyd spec my solid roller for my 383. (ported AFR 220's old style, pro ram single plane, and T&D shaftmounts with 12.1 comp.). The cam is 259 267 .57x .57x 108lsa installed on a 104. I had him spec a cam that would not kll the valve springs. I have yet to get the combo in the car but the cam Lloyd speced has almost the same specs as the Joe O solid roller that Joe speced for it (I had the old cam cam doctored and found out the specs---I only took it out as I need a small base circle cam). The combo was dynoed on an engine dyno untuned (set timing and initial jetting) and on race gas with undersized headers and carb (I am running fuel injection) and made over 500 hp from 5700-7200 and over 485ft lb @ 4700rpms. The hp peak was 520@6500 and the curve was almost flat. The hp numbers are low but I expect the curve to be lifted and the peak hp numbers to be around 560hp-590hp tuned with the fuel injection, crank case vacuum pump and 1 7/8 stahl flange headers.
