I must have bogegd up my intake oil leak fix becasue there's oil... even more oil... leaking now.. ........

from the front and rear of my engine... but not severly...

anyhow... I also put on a new Mcloed Clutch in about 2 months ago...

I have 4:10 gears but no speedo fix... and for a while I noticed in first gear the MPH seemed to play around a bit... in first gear... the needle would go 20... then drop 10 and back up again all while on the throttle... but only in 1st...

Now the issue...

When driving in 1st gear... my RPM's shoot up just as a slipping clutch would cause... and my MPH needle slowly goes up but gets to about 20-24 mph before I have to shift...

In 1st gear I used to hit 35-40 mph before I needed to shift...

What do yo uthink is going on???

 

When you install 4.10 gears in a car that originally had 3.42 without changing the speedo calibration then you will actually be moving along nearly 17% faster than the speedo will indicate.

Sounds like an oil soaked clutch to me. Once they get soaked, doesn't really matter if it's new or not. Good luck!

 

So are you asking about the clutch or the speedo?
