Unhappy So I have an electrical light show under the hood

Ok, there are a few arcing wires this I know (and will be taking care of). There are also a few other areas of concern I would like some advice.

1. There is a tad bit of arcing in the coil between the outer ring (magnet) and the inner body. Is this normal? If not: could the arcing wires or a ground problem cause this?

2. Lots of light coming from the alternator as well mainly to the accessory bracket and the belt. Same question as the above for cause

Now if anyone could be so kind as to maybe set me up with a diagram of all, the engine ground locations it would be a great help. I had the motor out for an extended period of time and may have not put them back right.

Thanks any input would awesome and I can get a list started to begin on Wednesday.

fix the busted wires first of course.

when I had one wire arcing........I had a light show going on to in other places.

fixed the wire and that fixed the rest of the light show.

The coil arcing is normal, or at least that is what the MSD tehc told me. I changed coils because I could see the arcing your referring to on a drak night. He said that the high powered coils all do that. its nothing to worry about. My stock coil did it, and I checked several others including a freinds Mustang. So I wouldn't worry about the coil.
