Probably not much of a difference between the two other then price, with the Pacesetters usually being the cheaper ones. Both brands have a loyal following on this board so you can't go wrong either way in my opinion.

If i could do it over I would get pacesetters they're cheaper and they don't have the slip joint.

The Pacesetters are the slip fit style also, the Hookers have the flange.

I believe he's referring to the #1 primary not being a slip fit type.

Re: So which headers are the ticket

Jet-Hot and Pacesetter compared:

1. Pacesetters are cheaper (P + 1)

2. Jet-Hots have higher quality welds (J + 1)

3. Sterling coating outperforms ceramic (J + 1)

4. Jet-Hots have a flange instead of slip-fit (J + 1)

5. Pacesetter has terrible quality control on their headers mounting or not mounting flush (and thus creating exhaust leaks) (J + 1)

P = 1
J = 4

In my mind, the price doesn't outweight Jet-Hot's advantages.

Jet-hots dont compare in the ground clearance department, so id give another point to pacesetter on that.

edit: just realized who i was talking to haha. do you have jet hots on yours? im very happy with my pacesetters, i installed them in the nick of time for the meet in greet.
