Why are you trying to remove just the pulley? The pulley is part of the compressor, is that what you're trying to remove?

sorry ram maybe i should be more specific. i wanna remove the whole compressor and all of the a/c componets left in my car then stick the delete pulley in place. sorry i might as well ask this as well. in my accessory bracket, all of the bolts that hold the bracket into the engine block, are those 3/8'' and about 1.75'' long? i need to buy all new ones because mine went missing after top end rebuild. thanks gents.

Ok so your deleting ac common save some horses and weight but to be honest theres no substitute for good cold ac in my car. Well anyway ive never seen the actual bolts for sale. The site does not recommend me giving other adresses out but i really wouldnt know who else to go to except hawksthirdgen.com. Get the number off of the website and call them they will for sure have them they have just about everything.

Those p/ns should work. That area is pretty well jumbled up in my parts .pdf but from what I can tell those are the bolts.

Also, there is a fourth bolt on the back of the compressor (kind of hard to reach) along with the single line attached to the rear. After that it should drop out.

Lowes, The # bolt supplier of my build. I replaced all my bracket bolts with grade 8 from lowes, about half the price then GM.

A bolts a bolt when it comes to the ac compressor bolts there should be no problem not even if they are a poorer quality due to the fact that there is not to much stress on them.

My AC delete pully came with the bolts...cardone brand...got it from Advance Auto. It is called AC bypass pully, and even if the parts guy at the counter cant find it, tell him to keep looking because it ALWAYS happens. Autozone has it too!

maybe i was not specific enough. i have no problem with the bolts for the a/c pulley. i need the bolts that hold the accessory mounting bracket itself to the engine. you know these bolts http://shbox.com/1/accy_brkt.jpg (accessory bracket mounting bolts to head; accessory bracket mounting bolts to block) i need the sizes to those sorry if i was unclear to you guys. i would also like to know how you guys pulled the secondary A.I.R. tube that runs around and up the timing cover. i tried to bring it around, but my transmission lines going into my radiator are sort of stopping it from coming down. everything else came out just fine. thanks

The bolts are all 3/8-16. Length is 1-1/8" for 2 and 2.5" for 2. This is according to the GM parts book so I can get you the part numbers if you want genuine GM if you like.

On a side note, I have a zip copy of the parts book I can let you have...PM me to discuss if you want.
