Snapring tool for T56?

This is for anyone who has disassembled thier T56, and I guess a T5 would have the same thing as well.
What kind of tool are you supposed to use to remove the thick snaprings on the shafts? The ones without holes that are beside the thrust washers. We used a a jacked up modified pair of snapring pliers to do this last night but I swear there has got to be a specific tool to make those easier. That was by far the hardest part and made the teardown about twice as long.

If there is a tool for this where can I get one?

Thanks.

You can pick up a pair of snap ring pliers at a tranny shop.

Get out a grinder and some old needle nose pliers and make your own
Obviously you have never taken apart a T56.

Cool, thanks Rodrigues. Ya think you could post a close up pick of those pliers so I can get a good idea what I need? Guess I'll head over to da tranny shop. On a side note, I thought I'd humor myself and ask the local dealer today what kind of tools they use to remove these. He said there wasn't a tool for them. Wanna guess what he said? 2 screwdrivers. Can you imagine taking all those rings off with a couple screwdrivers? I wonder how many bearing surfaces they trash doing that?
