Having A Hard Time Starting

Well, I will tell ya what I have recently replaced....Opti, Plug Wires, Coil, Fuel Filter. Here is what the car does. It will crank, fire, and die. I will crank it again, and it will idle for a second on about 6 cylinders, then die again. Finally if I give it some pedal, it will hold about 2500 rpm running on about 6 cylinders, and after about 5 seconds, it will start to rev up higher, and after about 4k rpm's, it fires on all 8, and will idle, and drive fine. After I shut the car off, I will have to do the exact same thing to restart it. I have replaced all the ignition compnents, and the fuel pump sounds fine, primes like it should, doesnt sound weak at all. I am thinking I do have a fuel problem though, maybe a bad FPR, What do you guys think? Here is what the car is: 1994 Z28 A4, rebuilt 355, with the hotcam kit. Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks

just because the pump sounds good cant judge by that my pump sounded excellent one time when i had only 5 psi so dont count that out get a fuel pressure tester....did you change the coil module the one next to the coil

honestly if it doesnt hit on all cylinders it is probably ignition or fuel related are all the injectors working right did you replace the ignition module and check the fuel pressure

Those are the next steps to look at, the ignition module is by the coil, correct?

Ok, had the fuel pressure checked today, at idle it was at 42 psi, and when I gave it throttle, wide open, and partial, it went down to 36.5 psi, and stayed there...any ideas? FPR I hope?
