Snapped a wheel stud
If you have centercaps that cover the lugs you should be fine even if they do check. I guess i just figured you would be using the zr1's in your sig.
One time in tech my buddy had to take his caps off in order to get a lug off so the tech inspector could make sure he had enough of the wheel stud sticking through the wheel for the lug nut.

It is a test and tune night and the lugs are covered up by that cover in the middle of the wheel so they wont see it. I have not had them tech me once since I have been going there. Not even on race days. Their definition of tech is writing a # on your car.

passing tech isn't really the issue...the issue is its unsafe to race with a broken wheel stud. Your taking a chance on breaking something and taking the guy in the next lane with you. IMO do the responsible thing and get it replaced ASAP, if you don't want to most brake shops can do it for you.
I believe you will only encounter problems if your car has traction control. My 95 doesn't have traction control and for some reason when i torqued down my Y2K's i broke or stripped out 3 studs on one wheel and i was torqueing them down to spec's.
It took all of 10 mins to replace all of them.
