Snapped a bolt trying to remove the cats
OK I broke a bolt trying to get the cats off for my LT install (Jet-Hot) How am I supposed to get this thing out? I sprayed a ton of Liquid Wrench on all of the bolts and now, after I snapped on, am letting the stuff soke in over night.
I got the alternator off and some off the exhaust manifold bolts off, unbolted the mid section of the Y-pipe and now I need to cut the y-pipe off the exhaust. What should I use to cut it off? I need to get a smooth cut.
Thanks
Mike

Snapping bolts is a good thing when doing headers. Only place where you don't want to snap one are the manifold bolts. I used a Dremel to cut the Y-pipe off. PITA. Just use a recipricating saw right before the y-pipe meets the I-pipe.
I snapped both of my bolts when I did my cat-back. I just took it to a shop and they heated the bolts up with a torch and then sprayed them off with cold water, then they came right out. Didn't charge me anything either.
