I jsut wired up my windows to have auto down feature on both doors. After that simple wiring, I noticed smoke coming from the door panel. Took it off, the motor is burned up (not like fire, but too much electricity type). I have a lifetime on the motor, but what caused this? This is what I did

I followed the instructions to a T, but did not expect this. I'll fix it tomorrow, just wanted to know if there was a way I can prevent it from happening again.

The express down feature does pump a little more electricity to the motor to make it go down faster, maybe the motor was just old and couldn't keep up?
