Smoke Through Defrost

WEll mtoor is back together and seems to be running good the only weird thing is every now and then I get some smoke through the defroster without the vents on. Doesnt smell like coolant more like burnt rubber or something but nothing is smoking under the hood its coming up through the vent. Could this just be crap that has been sitting on the frshly built motor. The thing literall has 10 mile son it

im not the expert, but what i was told after my header install was that it you have some kind of fluid hitting the header and smoking or any other kind of fluid that is making smoke, the intake for the heater and air could be sucking it in and thus going through your vents. hope this helps or explains it
