Smoke from left dash???

Twice when i started my car i have seen a very light amount of smoke coming from the left side of dash. Its all the way from where it meets the window. I don't have any codes or anything like that. The car seems to be running fine, and nothing out of the ordinary has happened. What do you think this can be?

What can it be? Probably a problem that is going to jump up and bite you. If it is wiring, it would have a particular smell. It could be the the ignition switch or one of the connections to it. There is a lot of juice that goes through there and it is not uncommon for there to be heat damage to the switch and connector.

Mine did the same thing, and it ended up being the heater coil blowing smoke into the car. It didn't smell, but it was smoke.

if it doesn't smell, then its probably condensation from the A/C.... Is there a distinct smell?

See above.. how humid is it in your area? Is the A/C on when it happens? My car blows clouds of condensation out of the vents when it is really humid out.. but that is VA..

Shoebox is also right.. what does your nosemeter tell you? Frying electronics is pretty noticeable..

Yeah it doesn't smell at all. That is why i was unsure on what it could be. It is not really humid out here at all.
