The smell of gas inside my car

What does this mean. Its raw gas..smells just like the chevron 93 octane I pump in there..I can smell it inside the car. Couldnt it be a leak at the fuel injectors, like a bad O-ring or something?

I had a lot of fuel smell inside the car when the EEC canister hoses were screwed up. Fixed the hoses and the smell went away.

Is changing these hoses a do-it-yourself project? If so, does anyone have directions/pics?
Thanks!

Problem is they connect at the very top of the fuel tank, where the fuel pump mounts. Either have to drop the tank, or build a hatch in the sheetmetal to access the hoses. The cannister end is easier to access... behind the plastic panel in the drivers side rear wheel well.

Thanks! Looks like it's off to see my friend, Mr. Goodwrench.
