Smaller alternator?

I'm having some clearance issues with my valve cover, and would like to just try to put a smaller alternator on there if possible. I'm thinking maybe Racemaster might make one that some of you have used before?

I already had some notching done on the valve cover, but it ended up not being enough...

Thanks
Chuck

Will those fit under the cowl?

Sorry, don't have any alt info.

I sure hope so. If they don't, that will have been a wasted 400 dollars in valve covers.

Nice truck What brand of radiator is that? Is that an original frame? The rails look too smooth...

The radiator is a Be Cool I believe. And it's an Art Morrison custom built chassis.

Cool

Can't you just grind an indented "L" in back of alternator for the notch work you had done?
