Do you guys think I should need a small base cam for my 383? I have a 400 Crank, Stock rods that were shot pined and lightended and Forged pistions. I have the CC306 installed in there now and the motor spins fine ( I think). I have just been reading alot of post and I want a Bigger cam than a CC306. I was just wondering if I order 1 do I need to get a Small circle based 1 or is that just if I have Different rods?
