Auto meter guage lighting. Where to hook up?

I have a Boost Guage and a Fuel pressure guage, they both have light bulbs that need to be hooked up.. I want to connect them to the same switch that I turn on my lights with.. Where do I connect them? I dont want to pull the dash apart to connect them to the actual switch, where is another location that would work off the switch?

Thanks
Nick

piece of cake buddy. Where are you gonna mount it. If its on the pillar than just run the wires down and connect them together. Put a jump clip on the end, slide it behind the dash on the fuse box side and just attach it to the fuse ( I believe the acces one ). It will work with when you turn on the switch, dimmer and all. Sorry if I was at home I could send you a pic. I actually took a picture of the rig.

Ultra Lite... Where is the wiring for the HVAC guages? Could I just solder the wires to the back of the fuse box on the HVAC fuse??

I used the BROWN wire coming from the headlight switch. So the gauge lights only come on when your parking lights or headlights are on. Which is only when its dark, which is when you should only need them to come on.

LoL I took the whole switch out. Just remove the gauge bezel (for the oem gauge cluster) the switch is attached to that, unsnap, run a lead wire from the BROWN wire on the headlight switch (soldered of course) and run it up the a pillar, splicing off to each gauge.

Damn i miss my gauges lol.

There's a bunch of ways you can wire it in... but easiest way is to just pull the fuse box and tap into one of the wires.
