**car is parked on 5-10 degree downward slop and engine is warm maybe 170 degrees... and the trans fluid goes up to the first coil!**

First of all drive it to a flat surface... as horizontal as you can... then WITH THE CAR ON PARK AND AT IDLE check the tranny fluid again... if your car engine was off it will give you a higher reading...

I have to leave now but I am sure other board members will help you from now on..

well i checked the dipstick on lvl ground and it was in the right place (my friend told me the right way to check it)

but it was doing this sluggish/knocking and all that bad stuff

what can i do i feel like its hurting my engine and i want it to go away

it usually is most comon when it is pulling like up a hill from 1000-2000 rpms but will still make the same sounds in those rpms on flat sometimes**

check the cat!!

sounds just like the problem I had. Is the cat extra hot? do you feel a normal amount of exhasut soming out the back? does the car seem quiet?

your cat may be clogged up

Somtimes with a badly clogged cat it will get so hot it will glow. Also you engine bay would be extra hot. But the best way to tell is if the exhasut became quieter or seems to not be flowing out of the tailpipes with normal pressure, also hit the cat a few time an see if you hear anything moving inside of it.

no i dont hear anythng around there... just nocking and stuff is about a little right of the pedals (engine)...

donno it only does it when the car is warm so a clogged cat will always be disfunctional wont it?
