SLP takeoff shocks - questions within...

Has anybody ever used SLP takeoff shocks here? What's your experience with them?

I'm planning on lowering my TA with DMS springs and replacing the 121k old factory shocks with newer ones. I don't want to spend too much money but I'm sick of the wallowing ride this thing has. My old 88 IROC feels like a go-kart compared to the TA. All it's got is an Eibach Prokit and KYB GR2 struts in the front, and Gasajust shocks in the rear. It stays absolutely flat through the twisties and has zero brake dive. I want the TA to handle like the IROC. Will DMS springs and takeoff shocks get me that result, or will I have to blow some cash on KYBs again?

I'd really appreciate it if y'all could post your opinions along with your suspension setup. Thanks

I put a set on my daughter's 97 Firebird and thought they handled pretty darn good for the money.

You absolutely CANNOT beat the price SLP sells them for. I was looking at KYB's but then I found the SLP's. Of course they firmed up the ride a bit because they are new but it felt good. Cant beat the price, and they work fine with my Eibachs.

I used them with Eibach's for quite a while. Contrary to what many say, the combo seemed fine to me for fast street use, and I am an ex road racer, so I undertand handling pretty well.

I put them on my 96 and loved them, great deal, on a good shock.
