slp shorties

Ok I think these seem like the best shorty headers, maybe some of you can post your experienced opinions on them, but teh 93 headersand y are 410 which I think is very resonable infact a very good pricee but I have a 94... these are 620..WTF!?! If I dont care about emissions cant I just use the 93's? Whats the difference?

I thought about it but if I dont find any used ones for a good price... I mean i can get some 93's, if they work, for 410 with a Ypipe or I could get 600 dollar longtubes adn pay a couple hundred for the y pipe the extra 4-500 buck just isnt worth it to me to have the extra 15rwhp. Does anyone know if the 93 headers will work on my 94?

yes they will work if you were worried about emissions you'd have to do some fab work especially on the little tube that comes out the passenger side....93's do not have that. But if you are plugging everything up then it will fit no prob. I have 94 MACs on my 93. But Cheese is right if emissions are not a concern get some used long tubes for like 300 and have a pipe made for 150 you can get them coated later. But that way the car is always breathing good for the future. I wish I didn't have emissions I'd be all over long tubes!

For an extra $100 you can get AS&Ms......or you can prolly search the for sale forum here and find them used for around $600, complete with ypipe and cat.......
