Lightbulb SLP ram air box/kit work with my hood?!---

I have a 96 z28 with a "trans am" type ram air hood. I was wanting to take advantage of my hood and saw SLP had a setup for their SS hoods. Would this work with my setup?! Also, let me know which of their packages I should look for.....I see one for 97 SS's and one for the 2000 type SS's. THANKS!!!---

I dont have any scoop guards on, so will I suck in water when it rains?! How can I stop that?! Thanks---

Wow, I like that setup!!! You said SLP has a setup like this for $250.....if I go to their site and search should I look for the Trans Am stuff?!---

Also consider that all that outside air dumping into the engine compartment keeps it a lot cooler which tends to be easier on parts IMO.

I run an SS hood on mine with a K&N...so all that cold air dumping on top of the motor keeps the compartment much cooler. No water damage or discoloration is happening either. My brothers' stock hood 97Z motor was also very dirty, where mine seem to stay much cleaner by preventing all the road dirt from getting spun up under the hood.

Also, I'm thinking that my original factory alternator and starter ( 95Z w/245K miles) are still working good (never replaced/rebuilt) because of that cooler underhood temp........but I'm just guessing.....
