Question SLP modules?!

I was about to buy the slp skip shift eliminator but noticed it said it was for the GTO when you search, but in the description is says Camaro too, will it work on my 96?! Also I was going to buy the traction control reverse module but it says CAMARO 97-98, will it work on my 96'?! I dont see why either of these would NOT work for me, but if you guys know otherwise PLEASE let me know before I order them and cant use them, thanks---

I think you can get all that programed out of your PCM. Would be better to just get a tune that way you get more hp and alot more for your money. Ion atwww.madz28.com Does good PCM tuning and has good customer service, Pcmsforless is good too I hear.

Re: SLP modules?!

i second the madz28 tune....if i remember you wanted to put 4:10's in your carr too. he'll fix the speedo, powertune your car, lower fan temps.... it's well worth the 100$ for the tuning. i really felt a difference.

all the hypertech stuff if JUNK!

Thanks guys, I just sent him an email. I was going to have him dyno tune for me and fix the speedo, but didnt know he could reverse the traction control, eliminate the skip shift, and turn down the fan kick on !!! NICE!!!

Re: SLP modules?!

I just got a reply from him and he said he can do all of it but reverse the traction control ( he can TOTALLY disable it but I still want mine for the winter ). Do you guys know if I can use the "97-98" reverse module since I have a 96!?! I wouldnt see why not , it may be a typo on the slp site?! Thanks--
